Tour Plan

This 11-day adventure begins with a scenic flight to Lukla, followed by trekking through Sherpa villages and lush rhododendron forests. Highlights include Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, and the Khumbu Glacier. The journey reaches its pinnacle at Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, offering unforgettable panoramic views of Mount Everest and surrounding peaks, before returning to Lukla and flying back to Kathmandu. The trek combines moderate to strenuous hiking with cultural experiences and teahouse stays.

Activity: Arrive   at  Tribhuvan  International  Airport  (KTM).  Transfer  to the hotel.

Key Tasks:

Double-check your gear. You can buy or rent anything you’ve forgotten in Thamel (the tourist hub district).

Meal: Welcome Dinner        at    Neplease Cuisine    Restaurant.

Flight: Kathmandu to Lukla (2.860 m/9.383 ft), a thrilling 45-minute flight. Trek: Lukla (9,383 ft) – Phakding (2,610 m / 8,563 ft) Distance: 4–5 miles (7 K) Duration: 3–4 hours Descent: easy downhill walk, following the Dudh-Koshi River. A gentle first day to get your legs moving.

Trek: Phakding    –    Namche Bazaar    (   3,440m  /  11,286ft   )

Duration: 5    –    6      hours

Distance: 7.5       Miles       (  12K’s  )

Ascent: A  more  challenging day.  You’ll  cross  several  suspension bridges, including the new high  “Tenzin Hillary Bridge”. The final 2 – hour  climb to Namche is steep   but   rewarding.

Lunch: Jorsalle

Highlight: Entrance to  the  “Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo”, one of the Natural World  Heritage  Site  of  Nepal.  Your  first  possible  glimpse of  Mt. Everest from   the   vantage   point   of   Toup  Danda    just    before   Namche Bazar

Trek: Namche   Bazaar   –   Tashing   (  3,470m  /  12,694ft  )

Duration: 7  –  8  hours

Distance: 8    Miles  (  13 K’s  )

Activity: “Climb  high,  sleep  low.”   This   is   a   crucial  day   for   your  body  to  adapt.

Hike: Ascent     up     to   the    “Everest   View   Hotel”    ( 3,880 m  /  12,730 ft )   for breathtaking, close – up    panoramas   of   Mt.  Ama  Dablam,   Mt.  Everest, Mt.   Lhotse,   &  MtNuptse.  Visit the Largest Sherpa Village of Khunde &  Khumjung     &    a     Monastery     then   continue    to    Tashing.

Accommodation: Teahouse   ( 1  Night ),  Tashing,

Trek: Tashing to Pangboche (3985m/13,070ft)

Duration: 5-6 hours

Distance: 7.5 Miles (12K’s)

Trail: Begin  with the downhill  descent until Phungitanga Village   in the  bank  of the  Dodh  Koshi river,  through  a rocky  path  into the  confluence of  ImJa  &  Dudh Koshi river, after crossing a swaying bridge the switchback climb path begins up to the top of Tyangboche village.  

Now, take a quick meal in a nearby teahouse restaurant.  After meal the trail descents down through a rhododendron forest  of debouche village situated at  the elevated  high  bank  of  Imja  river,  cross the bridge & follow a gentle climb until you reach the beautifully adorned  welcoming gate of Pangboche village, continue this piece of cake trail until you reach your lodge which lies at the center of your village.

Scenery: A  beautiful  walk – through  rhododendron  forests  with  stunning  mountain               views  of  Mt.  Thamserku,  Khantega, Mt. Amadablam,  Lotse,  Mt.Everest. The tree  line  disappears,  giving  way to  a more rugged,  alpine  landscape. You’ll pass  through  Pangboche,  one  of  the  oldest  permanent  settlements  in the region.

Highlight: Visit the  famous  “Tengboche Monastery”, the largest in the Khumbu region. Entrance into the “Imja Valley & River Basin” after crossing a  bridge of ImJa Khola with the  dominating  view of the “Mighty Lotshe Himalaya Range” appears    to     fortify    the   precious    Jewel    of    the   Earth    Mt.  Everest.

Trek: Pangboche    –    Phireche    (  4,371 m  /  14,338 ft  )

Duration: 5  –  6 hours

Distance: 7   Miles   ( 10 K’s )

Trail: Gentle    climb,    undulated  path

Highlight: Above   the  tree   line,   a  stunning  view   of  the  mountains  surrounds  you.

Accommodation: Teahouse (1 Night), Phireche

Trek: Phireche   –   Thukla   (  4,621  m  /  15,158  ft  )

Duration: 3     –      hours

Distance: 4             Miles      (   7  K’s  )

Trail: Gentle   climb

Highlight: Above  the  tree  line,  a  narrow   valley,  a  stunning  view  of   the  mountains surrounds you. You are at the tail of  17 Km Long Khumbu Glacier

Trek: Phireche  – Lobuche    (   4,940  m   /  16,207   ft  )

Duration: 4     –      5      hours

Memorial: The  trail  passes  through  the  hauntingly  beautiful  Thokla  Pass,   adorned with   memorials   for    climbers   who   have   lost    their   lives   on    Everest.

Trek    Part   I,    (   Morning  ) :

Trek   Lobuche   –   Gorak   Shep   (  5,164  m  /  16,942  ft  )

Duration: 3   –     4      hours     Trek

Lunch: Quick   Lunch   at    Gorekshep

Part    II,     (  Afternoon   ) : Trek  Gorak Shep – Everest Base Camp  ( 5,364 m / 17,598 ft ) &  Return to Gorak Shep.

Duration: 5  –  6   hours   round   trip

Highlight: You  made  it !    Stand   at   the   foot   of   the   world’s   highest   mountain. ( Note:  In  spring,  you’ll  see  a tent city;  other  times,  it’s  a rocky moraine )

Tip: This is a long, tough day at high altitude. Stay hydrated & pace yourself.

Accommodation: Teahouse (1Night), Gorekshep

Morning Hike (pre-dawn  ): Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar (5,645 m / 18,519 ft)).

Duration: 2-3 hours climbing uphill

The Ultimate View: This is the best possible view of Mount Everest, as you see it from the base to the summit,   bathed  in the morning  Sun. It’s arguably the highlight of the entire trek. 

Fly: Gorak—Shep—Lukla—Kathmandu

Duration: 3-4 hours (shuttling & waiting)

Evening: Enjoy a hot shower, a celebratory dinner, & perhaps a well-deserved massage.
