The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a moderate to strenuous adventure that takes trekkers through diverse landscapes, from lush subtropical forests to high alpine deserts. This 12-day/11-night journey is teahouse- and lodge-based, providing comfortable accommodations along the trail. The trek reaches a maximum elevation of 5,416 meters (17,769 ft) at Thorong La Pass, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It combines cultural experiences in traditional villages, natural beauty, and high-altitude trekking for a rewarding Himalayan adventure.

Highlights: A short, steady climb to help with acclimatization. You’ll likely see herds of yaks and blue sheep.

Highlights: The final stop before the pass. The air is thin, and the landscape is stark and beautiful.
Tip: Rest well and prepare for an early start the next day.

Trekking Time: 8-10 hours (a long, challenging day).
Schedule: Pre-dawn starts (around 4-5 AM) with headlamps. Reach the pass by late morning. Celebrate at the summit with photos by the iconic sign. The long descent leads to the holy town of Muktinath.

Activity: A spectacular 20-minute flight between the giants Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.
Afternoon: Free time in Pokhara to relax. Enjoy the lakeside, take a boat on Phewa Lake, or simply enjoy a hot shower and a celebratory meal on the waterfront side of a lake.
