Tour Plan

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a moderate to strenuous adventure that takes trekkers through diverse landscapes, from lush subtropical forests to high alpine deserts. This 12-day/11-night journey is teahouse- and lodge-based, providing comfortable accommodations along the trail. The trek reaches a maximum elevation of 5,416 meters (17,769 ft) at Thorong La Pass, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It combines cultural experiences in traditional villages, natural beauty, and high-altitude trekking for a rewarding Himalayan adventure.

Activities: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA KTM) Kathmandu. Our representative will transfer you to the hotel. Hotel check-in, Welcome drinks  and a short briefing.

Accommodation: Hotel in Kathmandu. (1Night)

Meals: Welcome Dinner at Neplease Cuisine restaurant.

Drive: 5-6 hours by private vehicle to Besisahar (760m).

Jeep Ride: 1-2 hours from Besisahar to Bhulbhule (840m). This avoids the initial, less scenic road walks.

Highlights: Walk through subtropical forests, past waterfalls, and traditional villages. The trail begins to feel more like a classic trek.

Highlights: Enter the Manang district. Pass through Chamje and Tal village, with dramatic views of the gorge. Checkpoint for ACAP permits.

Highlights: The valley widens, and you get your first spectacular views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal. Pass through pine forests and apple orchards.

Route Choice: We recommend the upper route via Ghyaru for better acclimatization and unparalleled views.

Highlights: Breathtaking vistas of Annapurna II, III, and IV, and the Paungda Danda rock face.

Highlights: The landscape transforms into a high-altitude desert. Visit the ancient Braga Gompa (monastery). Manang is a major acclimatization stops.

Activities: Essential rest day. We organize a short hike to either:

Option A: Bhojo Gompa or Gangapurna Lake (3,900m).

Option B: Ice Lake (4,600m) for a more challenging hike.

Highlight: Attend an altitude sickness awareness talk at the Himalayan Rescue Association clinic.

Accommodation: Teahouse in Manang. (1Night)

Trekking Time: 3-4 hours.

Highlights: A short, steady climb to help with acclimatization. You’ll likely see herds of yaks and blue sheep.

Accommodation: Teahouse in Yak Kharka. (1Night)

Meals: Not Included

Trekking Time: 3-4 hours.

Highlights: The final stop before the pass. The air is thin, and the landscape is  stark and beautiful.

Tip: Rest well and prepare for an early start the next day.

Accommodation: Teahouse in Thorong Phedi. (1Night)

Meals: Not Included

Trekking Time: 8-10 hours (a long, challenging day).

Schedule: Pre-dawn starts (around 4-5 AM) with headlamps. Reach the pass by late morning. Celebrate at the summit with photos by the iconic sign. The long descent leads to the holy town of Muktinath.

Highlight: Conquering the highest pass of your life!

Accommodation: Teahouse in Muktinath. (1Night)

Alternative Route: Instead of the road, we take the scenic and cultural trail via the Lupra Valley, a less-traveled path with an ancient Bonpo monastery.

Activity: A spectacular 20-minute flight between the giants Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.

Afternoon: Free time in Pokhara to relax. Enjoy the lakeside, take a boat on Phewa Lake, or simply enjoy a hot shower and a celebratory meal on the waterfront side of a lake.

Option 1 (Scenic Drive):  6-7 hours by surface.
